NFL Week 3: Rodgers Faces NFC Best Cowboys in Primetime

Lots of great matchups in week 3 of the NFL season and here is my picks.

Buffalo defeats Oakland 24-16
The Bills look solid on both sides of the ball. Oakland gives them a few problems, but Buffalo is just plain better.

NY Giants defeat Cincinnati 34-12
The Bengals have the looks of one of the NFL's worst teams, while the G-Men look ready to defend their Super Bowl.

Chicago defeats Tampa Bay 9-6
Two weak offenses mathcup and I see a battle of kickers. I am going with Robbie Gould.

Tennessee defeats Houston 21-17
The Titans looked fine with the ageless Kerry Collins, while Houston looked awful in their first two games.

Arizona defeats Washington 45-35
I smell a shootout. No defense in this one, and I like the Cards and their passing attack.

Minnesota defeats Carolina 27-22
The Vikings are too good to go 0-3. Steve Smith returns for Panthers, but I like the Minnesota defense.
Atlanta defeats Kansas City 31-21
Matt Ryan rebounds from the loss and puts the Falcons at 2-1. KC looks really bad on both sides of the ball this season.

New England defeats Miami 41-13
Matt Cassel puts on a clinic after Joey Porter's smack. NE rolls.

Denver defeats New Orleans 30-17
Jay Cutler has arrived and the Broncos look like a contender in the AFC.

Detroit defeats San Francisco 17-9
Someone has to win, and I think Kitna and the Lions get it together for one week anyways.

Seattle defeats St. Louis 23-14
The Seahawks have too much talent and experience to lose again, plus the Rams still like one of the worst teams in football.

Pittsburgh defeats Philadelphia 31-27
The battle of Pennsylvania is one of the best mathcups of the week, and I like Big Ben and the Steelers to win.

Indianapolis defeats Jacksonville 24-20
Indy gets it together against a division riv! al. Jags fall to a shocking 0-3.

Cleveland defeats! Baltimo re 28-17
The Browns offense arrives after two tough opponents in Dallas and Pittsburgh and picks up the win.

Dallas defeats Green Bay 38-27
The Cowboys prove they are the class of the NFC. Rodgers does well in his first true test, but the Dallas D is too much.

San Diego defeats NY Jets 25-21
The Chargers get in the win column with or without LT. SD has too much talent and they pull it together in the spotlight of Monday Night.
